Who will care for my pets?

Choosing a caregiver is an important decision for both of you. You want to be confident whomever you choose will provide the same love, care and attention that you have given your pet.

You need to be sure that your pet(s) will get along with any animals your chosen caregiver may already have.

It's important to talk through any concerns with the person you would like to designate before there's any kind of emergency. You can also tell that person you have outlined your wishes in the Pet Care Trust, so they have confidence all of the information they'll need is documented.

Don't just assume your family will take your pets

This is the biggest reason we created this online, simple-to-use Pet Care Trust. So many people expect their family members to take in pets. Yet so often family members can't or won't. Beloved pets end up in shelters all across the country.

If a friend or family member is not available ...

A number of Shelters and Santuaries will take responsibility of your pets with required funds.  Each has a different finanical requirment.
