Ok, now that I have your attention. I recommend reading our white paper.

"Why a Pet Care Trust?"

This great paper clearly states how I can best be taken care of.

What is a Pet Care Trust?

A pet care trust is a legally binding document that defines your wishes for the continued care of your pets should something happen to you.

Our pet care trust is written by an attorney to be valid in the 46 states that recognize pet care trusts.

What will happen to your pet if there is no legal trust to carry out your wishes?

  • In other legal documents, such as a will or family trust, pets are treated as property and can be disposed of with no recourse.
  • Statistics show that hundreds of thousands of pets who are left with no pet care trust are sent to shelters, where they may be killed.

How does a pet care trust protect the future of your pet(s)?

  • Pets are the beneficiaries in a pet care trust.
  • You state your wishes, ensuring your pets are cared for as you have.
  • Details such as diets, medications and your chosen vet can be included.
  • You provide money to care for your pets through something as simple as a small life insurance policy or a portion of your estate.
  • You have the option to provide a trustee, to oversee the finances and care of your pets.
  • You designate a caregiver who will provide care for your pets.

Our pet care trust is recognized in 46 States and DC. Pet care trusts are not recognized as legal documents in Louisiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi.

"But my family will take my pets ... "

So many people have told us they expect family members to take in their beloved pets if something happens. Yet many animals arrive at shelters because family members can't take them in. Consider the future of your pets. Have a conversation with your family rather than just assume. Many families already have pets that would not accept new pets into the home. A Pet Care Trust is the only document that will provide for your animals when you no longer can.
